Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU Berlin) is a renowned research university with around 40000 students and 4000 employees. It was founded in 1810 and is one of the universities of excellence in Germany. The participating institute is the Georg-Simmel Center for Metropolitan Studies (www.gsz.hu-berlin.de).
Within RECIPES HU Berlin is responsible for case study 7: Financial R&I, Financial Risks, and Precaution in Implementing the European Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (UWWTD) — Cities Investing in Renewing Water Infrastructures, London / Milan.
