On June 19, the Rathenau Institute organised a meeting to discuss problems surrounding precaution and innovation with 40 citizens. The meeting led to lively discussions about questions such as: how important is it as a society to be careful with new technologies? Is it possible to be too careful? And who should be held responsible for guaranteeing precaution?
